Fall Fun

We have pumpkins of all kinds in the front yard of Cassidy!
The children love running through all of them searching for the biggest, the smallest, the prettiest, the ugliest, etc.
We'll choose one special one and take it into the classroom! When we have our Fall Party, a parent will cut it open and we'll discover what's inside. We'll save the seeds and plant them when springs comes.

We love for Cassidy Preschool graduates to come back to visit. Recently one came by to read her favorite Preschool story "The Monster at the End of the Book". She did a great job and the children enjoyed it a lot. We encourage other graduates to come back and show us what they've learned.

Happy Bear came to Cassidy for a visit. He taught us about keeping ourselves safe. Thanks Happy Bear for your visit.

Everybody loves for Marty Silver to come by the school. Before he rode his bicycle to our school, he stopped at the creek at Warriors Path State Park and caught a crawdad. He taught us that the crawdad was important because he ate the dead things in the creek, keeping the creek clean. He promised to release the creature in the same creek when he got back to the park.

When we went outside in our garden, we found a ground beetle and a lot of spider webs. We listened to the birds and threw milkweed seeds in the air. Marty said that growing milkweed is very important if we want to see Monarch butterflies and other insects.
